Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

Search engine marketing, or SEM, is a form of Internet marketing that seeks to promote websites by increasing their visibility in search engine result pages (SERPs) through the use of search engine optimization, paid placement, contextual advertising, and paid inclusion.
Affiliate marketing is a marketing practice in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliate's own marketing efforts. The industry has four core players: the merchant (also known as 'retailer' or 'brand'), the network, the publisher (also known as 'the affiliate'), and the customer. Affiliate marketing is using one website to drive traffic to another—is a form of online marketing.
Pay per click (PPC) is a form of online advertising that you, the advertiser, only pay for when someone clicks on your ad. PPC, also known as paid search, guarantees your advert appears on a search engine results page (SERP) when a user searches on a specific keyword or term. Because you’re engaging with customers who have already entered the buying cycle, PPC is a highly effective and non-interruptive way to drive relevant traffic to your website. You can measure exactly what you’re getting for your spend, and by fine-tuning and optimizing your campaign, you can achieve excellent ROI from paid search.
